WHAT ROOF CLEANING METHODS DO YOU OFFER?
Moss removal - A safe and effective method of gently removing the moss with our specialist scraping tools made to fit your exact tile profile.
Soft Washing – is suitable for a number of roofs and using low pressure to prevent damage this helps to give more of an instant result.
Once the clean has been completed, we typically apply a Biocide soft washing solution to the roof to ensure the roof continues to clean itself long after the job has been completed. This prevents the moss returning for much longer than typical cleaning methods.
WHEN WILL MOST GROW BACK?
Moss requires moisture to grow and your roof is the perfect conditions for it. Moss spores are spread by being blown around and then start to grow. Biocide treatment can help to reduce the period of time before moss regrows.
HOW CAN I STOP MOSS GROWING BACK?
Regular maintenance is key to help slow the regrowth of moss. It is recommended to arrange for moss removal and a biocide treatment every few years.
WILL PRESSURE WASHING DAMAGE MY ROOF TILES?
We use soft washing to clean roofs as it uses less pressure than pressure washing. We still apply the same biocide treatment that can prevent the regrowth of moss and algae. It is a good alternative to pressure washing and can give instant results.
